We are always in need of people to help in our rescue efforts, and we encourage you to get involved in this rewarding endeavor. Among many other things, we need people to spread the word about our rescue group, to call people who have applied to adopt one of our dogs, to do home visits to meet the prospective adopters, and to foster dogs awaiting adoption. No matter how tiny your participation might seem to you, we will welcome your help!

FOSTERING

We especially enjoy hearing from folks who might be willing to be temporary foster families for Goldens awaiting adoption. Sometimes we have to get the dogs out of shelters to save their lives, and boarding them can be very expensive. Our Fosters are our saviors. We depend on them heavily to give us more information about the Golden that they are caring for. We are always looking for good homes to care for our dogs until the right forever home is found. Please let us know if you would like to provide a foster home for one of our Goldens.

The IRS has classified us as a charitable non-profit 501(C)(3) corporation. Any fees collected or donations given to us are therefore tax-deductible. The cost of preparing a Golden for adoption always exceeds what little we ask for in fees, so we do welcome and appreciate any donations out of the goodness of your heart.
